Blanket legitimate funny man destined for the gelt
The AGP 8x type is emotionless so it is very urgently to find a compelling practical joker like that on the make available. The Axle3D Nvidia GeForce 7950 has it's problems. The drivers are moderately old and the new drivers on the Nvidia website don't business with it because they are created for the PCI-Plain rendition. The drivers also randomly break working sometimes when I restart and I have to reinstall them. I bought this likely to think nothing of Starcraft 2 and WOW and for dual boot Ubuntu ordination. It does the the job and I am exuberant with it having in shilly-shallying that it was the only 512MB comedian I found with AGP 8x architecture.

Reinforcement away
For whatever rationale my motherboard does not like Axle3D cards. I tried 2 of these together with the Sapphire Radeon HD3850 in my aging PC. I'm not a beginner, I've been in IT since 1991 but I could not get this comedian to industry no argument what I did. I have always in use accustomed to BFG video cards but my 6800GT bit the dust after I pushed it too intent overclocking. I was on tap to just gnaw the bullet and body a 3-way SLi system but then I saw this file card and was impressed by it's features even though I never heard of Axle3D before.....I ended up getting a refund for this window-card and purchasing the BFG 7600GS. Its centre clock and GPU make haste is not as swift as Axle3D advertised their 7950GT to be and its 512MB is 128-bit GDDR2 as opposed to the Axle3D 7950GT's 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 but, like all of my other BFG cards, it has worked flawlessly from the r I installed it back in January and that is more critical to me than numbers on dossier.

A terrific replacement.
This was a replacement for another GeForce 7950 GT so it worked talented out of the box. The latest drivers were already installed so no question major there. I've had it for a month and it's worked fantabulous so far. In a ten year old system, this is as much an upgrade as feasible.
